Ever since the movie The Secret came out, there has been a huge buzz around the Law of Attraction and manifesting what we want through our thoughts. This was a great tool to increase awareness within our culture of this very powerful concept.
Visioning what you want and believing it to be true is one of the greatest of all tools at our disposal. We get what we think about, good or bad. But don’t forget that all important component in the law of attraction – the second part of the word – ACTION. You don’t need to figure out every detail of the “how”, you just need to take action and move toward your vision in faith. The rest will work itself out.

Having a vision for your life is a beautiful thing. It makes your dreams feel more concrete and obtainable. It gives you focus, direction and a barometer upon which to make life decisions. With a vision, you live with intention and purpose because you know where you are going. Without the direction of a clear vision for guidance, it is unlikely you will feel fulfilled because you will not base your decisions on what you want and where you are headed, but instead you will base them on circumstances of the moment.
Create a vision of what you want your life to look like in all areas of life, and picture it in your mind every day. Then create your plan to get there, take action with a resolve not to quit, and watch what happens. Even the smallest steps will lead you to your goals.

Not only will becoming what you think about have a bearing on your success but it can determine your life, wealth and happiness. What you think about can influence your feelings and attitude. Every day thoughts enter your mind good, bad and indifferent. These thoughts can be controlled with practice. When a negative or bad feeling enters your mind a negative thought may follow. The opposite is true of positive thoughts and feelings. Everything starts in your mind. Every great building before it was constructed was first a thought. Likewise, every great business first started with an idea.
A business owner’s level of success can be measured by his or her thoughts. What do you think about each and every day? Whatever you focus your attention on, will be the direction your thoughts will go. If you want to have better results then it makes sense to think better thoughts. The mind is very powerful and many people simply act or react and do not take the time to control their thoughts.
Each day as your thoughts occur, pay careful attention to them. What do they consist of? Are you complaining about the economy and why business is slow? Do you find yourself making excuses as to why you cannot complete certain projects? Is your thinking constructive or are you thinking self defeating thoughts? This is the first step. Dissect your thoughts, write them down and then restructure your way of thinking. You will amaze yourself how quickly it can be done.
While you are restructuring your thoughts pay special attention to your emotions. Your emotions are your internal warning system. Based on how you feel may determine what thoughts enter your mind. When you feel yourself starting to feel anxiety, ask yourself, “what is the real problem?” If you know your problem then you can attempt to solve it.
Change your way of thinking and you can change your life forever.
